Job summary

Sky Climber Renewables, in partnership with Vestas Americas, offers the TOP Wind Service Technician Level 1 program for entry-level technicians. The role emphasizes safety, hands-on training, and working on wind sites near home with a service-team approach to maintenance.

Technicians will receive exclusive safety and technical training accredited through GWO, with full-time employment and comprehensive benefits upon hire.

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States (no sponsorship)
• Must live within 1-hour commuting distance to job site unless relocating
• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass MVR
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Ability to read, write, and understand English
• Successful completion of a climb preview prior to hire

Responsibilities

• Perform basic mechanical installations, maintenance, operations, and upgrades following procedures
• Demonstrate knowledge of tools and use them safely
• Dismantle and assemble basic machinery, components and equipment
• Accurately document all work performed
• Follow all Health, Safety & Environmental procedures
