Job summary

Sky Climber Renewables, in partnership with Vestas Americas, offers TOP Wind Technician Level 1, a paid, full-time entry-level program with extensive training (GWO) and hands-on tower work at sites near you.

You’ll perform preventive and unscheduled maintenance, learn mechanical and electrical basics, and advance through safety certifications while supporting a service team at wind sites. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States (Sky Climber does not provide sponsorships).
• Must live within 1-hour commuting distance to job site unless actively relocating to the area.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass a motor vehicle record check.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Successful completion of a climb preview prior to hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic mechanical installations, maintenance, operations, and upgrades following established procedures.
• Demonstrate knowledge of tools and use them safely.
• Dismantle and assemble basic machinery, components, and equipment.
• Accurately document all work performed.
• Follow all Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) procedures.
