Job summary

Sky Climber is offering a full-time Wind Technician Level 1 position through the TOP Wind Service Technician Development Program. You will receive specialized safety and mechanical training accredited by GWO and work at wind sites near your home as part of a service team ensuring safe turbine maintenance.

You’ll report to the Program Manager and Site Manager, with training provided upon hire, including safety, tower, and technical modules.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Climb preview completed prior to hire.
• Must be able to read, write, and understand English.
• Background check and drug screening required.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass motor vehicle record check.

Responsibilities

• Follow all Environmental, Health and Safety procedures.
• Perform basic mechanical installations, maintenance, operations, and upgrades.
• Document all work performed and report any policy violations.
• Travel as required up to 25% to job sites.
• Work at heights and in all weather conditions.
