Job summary

Sky Climber Renewables is offering a full-time Wind Technician Level 1 through the TOP Wind Service Technician development program. Technicians receive GWO-accredited safety and technical training and work at wind site locations near home as part of a service team to maintain turbines safely.

The role reports to the Program Manager and Site Manager, performing preventive, scheduled, and unscheduled maintenance on turbine generators and components.

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass MVR check.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Successful completion of a climb preview prior to hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic mechanical installations, maintenance, operations, and upgrades following established procedures.
• Demonstrate knowledge of tools and use them safely.
• Dismantle and assemble basic machinery, components, and equipment.
• Accurately document all work performed.
• Follow all Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) procedures.
