Job summary

Sky Climber Renewables is seeking a TOP Wind Technician Level 1 to join the Tech One Program. You will receive exclusive safety and technical training through GWO and work at a wind site near home within a service team to maintain turbines and generators.

This full-time role requires climbing, adherence to safety protocols, and occasional travel up to 25%. Training upon hire covers safety, tower operations, and mechanical/electrical systems to prepare you for career growth in wind power.

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States (no sponsorship).
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license with clean record; pass background check and drug screening.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English; successful climb preview before hire.
• Preferred: technical/mechanical/wind energy background; ability to read diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic mechanical installations, maintenance, operations, and upgrades per procedures.
• Demonstrate safe tool use and proper technical practices.
• Dismantle/assemble basic machinery and equipment; document all work performed.
• Follow Health, Safety & Environmental procedures and travel as needed.
