Job summary

Sky Climber Renewables is offering a structured Wind Technician development program. The TOP Wind Service Technicians receive safety and technical training accredited through GWO and work as part of a service team at wind sites near home.

Roles involve preventive, scheduled, and unscheduled maintenance on turbine equipment, with emphasis on safety, documentation, and teamwork. Training provided upon hire, including safety and technical modules, to advance within the organization.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Preferred: Associate’s degree in a technical mechanical field, wind energy, or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret basic diagrams and wiring schematics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic mechanical installations, maintenance, operations, and upgrades following established procedures.
• Demonstrate knowledge of tools and use them safely.
• Dismantle and assemble basic machinery, components, and equipment.
• Accurately document all work performed.
• Follow all Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) procedures.
