Job summary

Sky Climber Renewables is seeking a TOP Wind Service Technician Level 1 to join The Tech One Program. You’ll receive accredited safety and technical training through GWO and work at wind sites near home as part of a service team.

The role focuses on preventive and corrective maintenance of turbine generators, with opportunities to advance in a fast-growing renewable energy company and participate in a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States (Sky Climber does not provide sponsorships).
• Live within 1-hour commuting distance to job site unless relocating.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a motor vehicle record check.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Successful completion of a climb preview prior to hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic mechanical installations, maintenance, operations, and upgrades following established procedures.
• Demonstrate knowledge of tools and use them safely.
• Dismantle and assemble basic machinery, components, and equipment.
• Accurately document all work performed.
• Follow all Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) procedures.
