Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC in Houston seeks a Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) Manager to lead the Global WHS Program implementation and protect associates while sustaining productivity.

You will partner with Operations leadership, conduct risk assessments, analyze safety data, and drive initiatives to elevate safety culture across site operations. Travel 50-70% and oversee first aid and emergency response programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required, or 2+ years Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
• 3+ years of increasing responsibilities in WHS and/or environmental programs in manufacturing, production, or service operations.
• 3+ years of increasing responsibilities in people and performance management, or 2+ years of Amazon Safety (blue badge/FTE) experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety initiatives and partner with Operations leadership to embed safety into daily operations.
• Conduct comprehensive site risk assessments and analyze safety data to identify improvements.
• Manage the first aid program and emergency response capabilities, ensuring readiness.
• Drive safety audits, track incident trends, and implement corrective actions.
