Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) Manager to become the safety champion on site, leading the Global WHS Program implementation and partnering with Operations leadership to drive safety and productivity.

You will conduct risk assessments, analyze safety data, and implement practical solutions to protect associates while supporting performance. Travel 50-70% and lead audits, training, and emergency response activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years Amazon experience.
• 3+ years of increasing responsibilities in WHS and/or environmental programs in manufacturing, production, or service operations.
• 3+ years of increasing responsibilities in people and performance management, or 2+ years of Amazon Safety (blue badge/FTE) experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead our Global WHS Program implementation and act as site safety champion.
• Conduct risk assessments, analyze safety data, and implement practical safety solutions.
• Lead safety audits, monitor incident trends, and drive corrective actions.
• Manage first aid and emergency response capabilities and engage associates in safety initiatives.
