Job summary

Specialty Lighting is a NY/NJ based company celebrating 30 years of innovation. We are seeking a Western Regional Sales Manager with a proven track record in driving sales revenue and expanding business relationships with agents, specifiers, and the lighting community.

The candidate will actively promote products, collaborate on sales strategies, and manage field activities across assigned territories. Travel up to 50% is required to meet customers and attend lighting shows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or other relevant field.
• Specification lighting sales experience from either a manufacturer or Outside Specification Sales from a representative.

Responsibilities

• Actively promote company products to sales partners and design community.
• Collaborate with representatives to develop and execute sales strategies.
• Manage sales activities with visits and communications to ensure market penetration.
• Regularly give well prepared training and sales presentations to Rep sales team and specifiers.
• Demonstrate current products, new products, services and developments to customers, end users and decision makers.
• Represent Company at both regional and national lighting shows.
• Provide technical and field support.
• Assist in defining sales goals/targets and actively evaluate progress toward achievement of goals.
• Provide regular sales reports: follow up and project pipeline: develop long-term sales forecasts: report and update data regularly.
• Establish and maintain positive relationships within the markets and the organization.
• Share market intelligence, best practices, and competitive landscape.
• Assist in development of marketing collateral and trade show presence.
• Proactively pursue knowledge of lighting products, technologies, and their markets.
• Perform other job duties as assigned.
