Job summary
Bio-Techne is seeking a Sales Specialist for the Western & Cellular Analysis sales team to drive sales of Simple Western and Cellular Analysis instruments and related systems in the assigned territory. Field-based role serving the Boston/Cambridge region; ideal candidate resides in the area.
The role requires 5+ years of sales experience in Life Science tools, a science-related bachelor’s degree, and proficiency with Salesforce.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a science related field required.
- 5+ years of sales experience in Life Science tools space.
- 2+ years selling in related market and space.
- High value capital equipment sales experience.
Responsibilities
- Achieve sales targets through consultative selling methods.
- Maintain and develop incremental business in existing and new accounts.
- Work closely with the Commercial Team to provide a coordinated approach to customers.
- Field sales located in the assigned territory, visiting customers ~75% of the time.
- Understand workflows and applications related to Bio-Techne’s product lines.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts for instruments and reagents; manage leads in Salesforce.
