Job summary

SPT Labtech is seeking a Territory Sales Manager – West to own the annual sales territory across Northern California (excluding South San Francisco and the Peninsula), Nevada, Utah and Colorado. You will conduct product demonstrations, outbound lead generation, trade shows, and manage your pipeline end-to-end.

Based in the San Francisco area, you will collaborate with an experienced sales team, applications and marketing, travel up to 50%, and build trusted relationships with genomics, protein

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in a capital equipment sales role in the Life Sciences Market with experience selling automated liquid handling technologies or familiarity with lab automation solutions.
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent qualification in Life Science; background in Genomics or Protein Crystallography is advantageous.
• Ability to drive targets, travel up to 50%, and work autonomously while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Promote, market develop and sell liquid handling and sample management product lines into genomics, protein crystallization, and drug discovery markets across the territory.
• Manage pre-sale activities through purchase order and support post-sale activities.
• Work independently and with sales specialists, support, product management and marketing teams.
• Schedule and conduct product presentations and demonstrations to customers.
