Job summary

Genesee Scientific in the San Francisco Bay Area is seeking an Account Manager to drive sales of life science products within a defined territory. You will build strong customer relationships, manage pricing, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet targets.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in a life science field, 3+ years of sales or lab experience, and comfort delivering virtual demos via Zoom/Teams. Travel up to 25% and data-driven approach to pipeline management are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant science field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in sales or lab industry; proven track record.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Able to conduct virtual demos via Zoom/Teams; proficient with CRM tools.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of territory to build and sustain customer relationships
• Manage pricing in territory to achieve financial targets
• Collaborate cross-functionally and use available resources to serve customers
• Monitor competitor activity and product/service updates
• Maintain accurate Salesforce activity and pipeline
• Provide supply and price trend updates and consult on inventory planning
• Deliver virtual demos and sales presentations via Teams/Zoom
