Job summary

Unchained Labs seeks a proactive BGT Account Manager to drive sales across Northern California Bay Area, Colorado, and Utah. You will lead new business development, nurture relationships with researchers, and manage a robust sales pipeline using direct outreach and industry events.

A deep background in biologics/gene therapy and CRM proficiency, especially Salesforce, will help close complex multi-stakeholder deals. Expect up to 30% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in biology or related field.
• 5+ years industry experience in a sales role.
• Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM.
• Experience in biologics and gene therapy markets preferred.
• Experience selling in complex purchasing environments.
• Willingness to travel up to 30%.
• Located in Northern California / Bay Area preferred.

Responsibilities

• Report to the VP, Sales - Analytics, N. America and develop and optimize a well-balanced and proactive sales strategy.
• Demonstrate Unchained Labs’s technology at customer sites to nurture sales pipelines and close business on Unchained Labs’ behalf.
• Find, nurture and close new business.
• Represent the business in a professional manner at external meetings/demonstrations and scientific conferences.
• Maintain strong customer relationships to ensure effective use of Unchained Labs’s products as well as drive post-sale business.
• Work with marketing colleagues to develop a local strategy for marketing and lead generation.
• Work closely with customers to identify and interpret market dynamics influencing demands for new products and new assay development.
• Report monthly KPIs and be responsible for ensuring growth and development of these business-critical areas of development.
