Job summary

QXO is seeking a Regional Safety Manager to lead Environmental Health & Safety initiatives across the West Region. The role focuses on prevention, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement, partnering closely with operations leaders and field teams.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of safety leadership in manufacturing or distribution, strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations, and a track record of influencing teams and delivering results.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of safety leadership experience in manufacturing, construction, warehousing, or general industry environments.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations.
• Experience conducting audits, investigations, and developing corrective action plans.
• Proven ability to influence organizational change and build strong partnerships across teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Lead Regional EHS Programs across the West Region with a focus on prevention and incident reduction.
• Champion a proactive safety culture and standardized safety practices.
• Stay current on industry trends and regulatory requirements to drive performance improvements.
• Develop and implement EHS programs, policies, procedures, and standards across the region.
• Partner with operational leaders to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Design, deliver, and support safety training programs for field and facility employees.
• Conduct safety audits and manage corrective action plans.
• Lead incident investigations and prepare reports for leadership and regulatory agencies.
