Job summary

QXO, a leading safety-focused distributor and installer, seeks an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager – Field Operations. You will serve as the primary safety partner for field operations, coaching across 60-70 sites and driving proactive safety culture.

Expect extensive travel to job sites, ensuring compliance with OSHA standards and company policies, while partnering with leaders to reduce risk and promote safe work practices across the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in safety/health field.
• 3+ years of progressive EHS experience in construction/building products.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA Construction Standards (29 CFR 1926).

Responsibilities

• Serve as regional EHS leader for field operations across multiple sites.
• Travel regularly to job sites for safety assessments and coaching.
• Ensure consistent EHS policy implementation across field operations.
• Advise field leadership on risk management and regulatory compliance.
• Lead incident investigations and drive corrective actions.
• Deliver safety training, toolbox talks, and field engagement activities.
