Job summary

CRH Americas Materials in Draper, Utah, is seeking a Ready Mix Performance Improvement Manager to lead lean initiatives across western U.S. operations and drive operational excellence.

You will champion cost leadership and margin improvement, develop capability through training and coaching, and partner with site leaders and the commercial team to implement OpEx programs. This role requires 5+ years in ready mix, strong analytics, and ~50% travel across the western U.S.

Qualifications

• 5+ years operational experience in ready mix with progressive leadership.
• Proficient use of performance tools (AggFlow, PEAK, PRISM, B2W, DF3).
• Ability to lead and coach teams across sites and functions.
• Strong finance, analytics, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end performance assessments at assigned sites, with diagnosis, on-site review, and implementation planning.
• Analyze plant production efficiencies and identify improvement opportunities while ensuring quality.
• Collaborate with leadership and commercial teams to develop OpEx and value-added strategies.
• Support budgeting, planning and periodic reporting for the division.
