Job summary

CRH is seeking a Ready Mix Performance Improvement Manager to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement across multiple western states. You will lead Lean initiatives, build capability, and coach teams while delivering margin improvements and cost leadership.

The role involves performance assessments, plant optimization, and cross-functional collaboration with commercial teams to maximize value. Travel approx. 50% is required in the western United States.

Qualifications

• 5+ years operational experience in ready mix, leading teams and delivering progressive results.
• Experience with ready mix performance tools (e.g., AggFlow, PEAK, PRISM, B2W, DF3).
• Proven ability to develop relationships and work with teams as both leader and participant.
• Hands-on technical experience with plant systems, quality control, and data collection.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end performance assessments at assigned sites, including diagnosis, on-site assessment, and post-visit analysis.
• Analyze and improve plant production efficiencies while maintaining product quality.
• Optimize operations to meet demand, maximize margin and maintain safety and quality.
• Collaborate with leadership and commercial teams to develop and implement OpEx and value-added strategies.
