Job summary

CRH is seeking a Ready Mix Performance Improvement Manager to drive operational excellence across western US aggregate operations. The role emphasizes lean, problem-solving, and margin improvement through operational and commercial initiatives.

Responsibilities include capability-building, training, coaching, and leading site assessments, with travel about 50% within the western United States. A strong background in ready mix and performance tools is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of operational experience in ready mix.
• Experience with ready mix performance tools.
• Proven ability to influence at all levels.
• Hands-on experience with plant systems and automation.
• Experience leading and developing teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end performance assessments at sites, including pre-visit diagnosis, on-site assessment, post-visit analysis and prioritization.
• Analyze and improve plant production efficiencies while maintaining product specification and quality.
• Optimize plant operations to meet sales demand in the most cost-effective manner, maximizing margin and ensuring safety.
• Align production planning with demand forecast and commercial strategy to optimize margins.
• Collaborate with leadership and the commercial team to develop and sell the best-fit OpEx strategy to meet customer demand.
• Lead change management initiatives and coach site leaders and frontline employees.
