Job summary

CRH Americas Materials seeks a Ready Mix Performance Improvement Manager to drive operational excellence across aggregates operations in the western United States. You will champion lean methodologies, lead cost leadership and margin initiatives, and build capabilities through training and coaching.

Travel up to 50% within the western US; you may lead a small team and collaborate with leadership and commercial teams to implement OpEx and sustainability strategies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years operational experience in ready mix, leading teams and delivering progressive results.
• Experience with performance tools such as AggFlow, PEAK, PRISM, B2W, DF3.
• Ability to develop relationships and work with teams as both leader and participant.
• Hands-on technical experience with plant systems, quality control, automation and data collection.
• Site assessments including reviewing and approving tactical implementation plans.
• Training, coaching and mentoring with leadership and frontline teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end performance assessments at assigned sites, including diagnosis, on-site and post-visit analysis and prioritization.
• Build and maintain trust, operate with integrity, and promote a strong safety culture across AMAT operations.
• Analyze and improve plant production efficiencies while maintaining product specs and quality.
• Optimize plant operations to meet sales demand cost-effectively while ensuring safety and quality.
• Align production planning with demand forecast, mine plan and commercial strategy to maximize margin.
• Support plant-level scheduling and budget development with labor, materials and overhead estimates.
• Collaborate with leadership and commercial teams to develop and sell OpEx and value-added strategies.
