Job summary

CRH Americas Materials is seeking a Ready Mix Performance Improvement Manager- West Division (Construction) to lead lean initiatives across multiple states, driving operational excellence and cost leadership. The role focuses on capability-building, training and coaching, and collaboration with the commercial team to optimize margins while upholding safety and quality.

Travel approximately 50% within the western United States; lead site assessments, implement improvements, and develop robust

Qualifications

• 5+ years operational experience in ready mix
• Experience with performance tools AggFlow, PEAK, PRISM, B2W and DF3
• Ability to influence at all levels and build relationships
• Training, coaching and mentoring site leaders and teams

Responsibilities

• Lead safety culture and ensure safe operation across AMAT
• Conduct end-to-end performance assessments at assigned sites
• Analyze and improve plant production efficiency and equipment performance
• Optimize plant operations to maximize margin while maintaining quality
• Align production planning with demand forecast and strategy to maximize margin
• Collaborate with leadership and commercial teams to develop OpEx/value added strategies
• Lead change management initiatives and drive sustainable improvements
• Deliver effective training and coaching to site leaders and frontline staff
• Support development of operational budgets including labor, materials and overhead
