Job summary

CRH Americas Materials is seeking a Ready Mix Performance Improvement Manager for the West Division. This leadership role champions lean and problem-solving to drive operational excellence across multiple states, with a focus on capability-building and coaching teams.

The role requires 5+ years in ready mix operations, familiarity with performance tools, and strong collaboration across functional teams. Travel ~50% within the western US is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years operational experience in ready mix or related construction operations.
• Experience and proficiency with performance tools used in ready mix operations (AggFlow, PEAK, PRISM, B2W, DF3).
• Proven ability to lead teams and work with others as a leader and participant.
• Hands-on technical experience with plant systems, quality control, automation and data collection.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end performance assessments at assigned sites and support prioritization.
• Analyze and improve plant production efficiencies while maintaining specification and quality.
• Optimize operations to maximize margin and maintain safety and quality.
• Align production planning with demand forecast and margin targets.
• Collaborate with leadership and commercial teams to implement OpEx strategies.
• Deliver training and coaching to enhance site leaders and frontline employees.
