Verkada Inc. seeks a Federal Field Solutions Engineer based in the Western US with strong Cloud Security, IoT, Networking, Linux, and Access Control experience.

You will partner with territory account executives to expand into Fortune 500 accounts, interfacing with customers/partners through the sales process and assisting deployments. The role requires frequent travel (>50%), working remotely, and delivering technical wins while educating customers and internal teams on Verkada products and

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer with Fortune 500 clients.
• Outstanding written and verbal English communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in relevant technical or security field.
• Strong Networking background: HTTPS, VLANs, TCP/IP, DNS, NAT, DHCP, Firewalls.
• Industry certifications: AWS, CCNA, CCDA, CCNP, MCSE, CEH, Security+, A+, Network+, Microsoft Azure, CISSP, CSP.
• Experience with Active Directory, SAML/SCIM, APIs, Python, and other coding languages is a plus.
• Startup experience.

Responsibilities

• Technical Leader: be the subject matter authority on Verkada products and articulate benefits.
• Objection Handler: overcome objections and secure the technical win.
• Evangelist: present Verkada solutions to all levels, educate partners and customers on new products.
• Role requires regular travel, >50% of the time, domestic and international.
