Job summary

Verkada Inc. seeks a Federal Field Solutions Engineer based in the Western US to drive security deployments within Fortune 500 accounts.

You will partner with territory account executives, design deployments, overcome technical objections, and support customers through complex sales cycles. The role combines hands-on cloud security, IoT, networking, and Linux expertise with travel up to 50%+ domestically and internationally, enabling rapid, executive-level engagements and scalable security

Qualifications

• 3+ years as a Sales Engineer with Fortune 500 experience.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical or security field.
• Strong networking fundamentals: HTTPS, VLANs, TCP/IP, DNS, NAT devices, Firewalls.
• Industry certifications: AWS, CCNA, CCNP, CISSP, Azure, Security+.
• Experience with Active Directory, SAML/SCIM, APIs, Python is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical engagements and articulate Verkada's value to customers throughout the sales process.
• Overcome objections and secure the technical win for Verkada.
• Present to executives and IT leaders, educating partners, customers, and internal teams about Verkada products.
• Frequently travel to support customers and field operations.
