Job summary

Verkada is seeking a Federal Field Solutions Engineer based in the Western US to drive technical engagements with Fortune 500 customers. You will partner with territory account executives to expand Verkada’s footprint, design deployments, and provide expert technical support throughout the sales cycle.

The role requires strong networking and security know-how, fluency in English, and the ability to travel frequently. A technical bachelor’s degree and relevant certifications are highly valued.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as a Sales Engineer or equivalent for Fortune 500 customers.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or security field.
• Strong networking knowledge: HTTPS, VLANs, TCP/IP, DNS, NAT, DHCP, firewalls.
• Bonus: industry certifications (AWS, CCNA/CCNP, CISSP, Azure, Security+).
• Experience with Active Directory, SAML/SCIM, APIs, Python; startup experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Be the subject matter authority on Verkada products and articulate value throughout the sales process.
• Overcome objections and secure the technical win for Verkada.
• Present Verkada solutions to executives and IT leadership; evangelize with partners and customers.
• Travel regularly; support customers domestically and internationally as needed.
