Job summary

Verkada Inc. is seeking a Solutions Engineer to partner with Territory Enterprise Account Executives and expand upmarket into Fortune 500 companies. You will act as a technical adviser, lead product demonstrations, and design deployments with Verkada products.

This remote role requires Melbourne-based candidates and occasional travel. The ideal candidate brings a strong IT security, networking, and Linux background, plus excellent communication to engage both technical and non-technical

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant IT field from an accredited university.
Solid understanding of TCP/IP, TLS, DNS, DHCP, NAT and VLANs.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Willing to travel 40% of the time.
Experience with Linux, APIs and Python is preferred.
Industry certifications are a plus (e.g., CCNA, AWS).

Responsibilities

Be the trusted technical advisor to key customer stakeholders: CTOs, CISOs, IT Executives, Security Engineers, Network Engineers, Head of Physical Security, etc.
Lead product demonstrations and design technical solutions for enterprise customers.
Collaborate with the sales team to assess opportunities and design effective technical solutions.
Travel regularly to support business operations and customer engagements (approx. 40%).
