Job summary

Verkada is seeking an Enterprise Field Solutions Engineer focused on State accounts. You will partner with territory account executives to expand Verkada footprints into Fortune 500 companies, interfacing with customers throughout the sales cycle and designing deployments with Verkada products remotely.

The role requires regular travel (domestic and international) and a strong background in Cloud Security, Networking, Linux systems, Security Surveillance, and Access Control.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer with Fortune 500 exposure.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical or security field from an accredited university.
• Strong background in Networking: HTTPS, VLANs, TCP/IP, DNS, NAT devices, DHCP and Firewalls.

Responsibilities

• Be the subject matter authority on the Verkada product suite and articulate value during the sales process.
• Overcome objections and secure the technical win for Verkada.
• Present Verkada solutions to all levels of customer, from C-level to IT directors.
• Architect deployments with Verkada products and provide technical assistance to territory account reps.
