Job summary

Verkada is seeking an Enterprise Field Solutions Engineer focused on State accounts, partnering with territory account executives to expand into Fortune 500 companies. You will interface with customers and partners throughout the sales process, addressing technical objections and helping design deployments with Verkada products.

The role requires strong networking, security, Linux, and cloud security expertise, and entails frequent travel to support business operations and customer engagements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Sales Engineer experience with Fortune 500 clients.
• Outstanding written and verbal English communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical or security field.
• Strong background in Networking: HTTPS, VLANs, TCP/IP, DNS, NAT, DHCP and Firewalls.

Responsibilities

• Technical Leader: be the subject matter authority on Verkada products and articulate value to customers.
• Objection Handler: overcome objections and secure the technical win.
• Evangelist: present Verkada solutions to all levels of customer, from executives to IT managers.
• Role involves travel: more than 50% of the time domestically and internationally.
