Job summary

AAON, Inc. seeks a Technical Sales Manager (remote-friendly) to drive B2B sales of BASX Datacenter products across a regional territory.

You will manage manufacturers, distributors, and key accounts, align regional strategies with company goals, and lead front-line sales initiatives with engineering and marketing teams. The role emphasizes datacenter cooling systems knowledge, strong communication, and travel readiness to travel within the territory.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in datacenter cooling HVAC or industrial equipment
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, applications, and industry standards
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Ability to analyze sales data and develop actionable strategies
• Proficiency with CRM tools and MS Office Suite

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement regional sales strategies to achieve revenue targets
• Manage and support manufacturer representatives and distribution partners
• Identify new business opportunities and expand market presence
• Build and maintain relationships with key accounts and decision-makers
• Coach representatives to strengthen their businesses and results
• Provide technical product support and training to sales partners and customers
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity
• Collaborate with internal teams and senior leadership
• Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and presentations
• Represent BASX at trade shows and customer meetings
• Own the customer experience across channels to resolve issues promptly
