Job summary

Bio-Techne in Phoenix seeks a Director of Business Development to build and maintain client relationships in the clinical research sector. You will identify new opportunities, develop proposals, manage key accounts, and represent Bio-Techne at industry events across the West Coast.

Responsibilities include developing territory strategies to drive sales, identifying and closing opportunities in biopharma accounts, delivering scientific presentations, and managing the sales pipeline and forecasts

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in molecular biology, genetics, or related life sciences.
• Minimum 2 years scientific sales experience with pharma/biotech customers.
• Strong business development and consultative selling skills.
• Experience in Cell & Gene Therapy, RNAi, ASO, CRO services or biomarkers preferred.
• Ability to deliver scientific presentations and technical consultations.
• US work authorization without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute territory strategies to achieve sales growth and revenue targets.
• Identify, prospect, and close new business opportunities within biopharma accounts.
• Deliver scientific presentations and technical consultations on spatial biology solutions.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across customer organizations.
• Manage sales pipeline, forecasts, and customer activities in Salesforce CRM.
