Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks an Account Executive for Biotech in the Clinical Trials Division to drive sales growth across the West Coast territory from a home office. You will build strategic relationships with biotech clients and collaborate with CTD, site leadership, and client services to deliver integrated clinical supply solutions.

The role emphasizes relationship building with key decision-makers, development of territory plans, and proactive lead generation.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
5–8 years of pharma/biotech sales experience with a track record of meeting/exceeding targets.

Responsibilities

Identify and pursue new molecule opportunities with new or existing clients through strategic selling.
Develop a detailed territory plan to optimize performance.
Create and implement sales programs to increase awareness and differentiate from competitors.
Analyze funding mechanisms and flow of funding for biotech territory.
Attend tradeshows and conferences to generate leads and broaden capabilities.
Communicate value proposition and opportunities for strategic bundling of services.
Lead ongoing relationships with existing clients.
Enable winning quotes and support contract negotiations.
Record all activities in SFDC and share background on prospective clients with partners.
