Job summary

BioPharma Services Inc. seeks a Director of Business Development for the West Coast, remote (US West Coast based).

You will promote BioPharma’s early-stage clinical services, including Phase I-IV, Bioanalysis, Data Management, and Biometrics, to pharma/biotech clients and drive revenue growth. Reporting to the CCO, you will build executive-level relationships, develop account plans, and coordinate with operations to meet client needs while ensuring compliance with GCP/ICH guidelines.

Qualifications

• Completed postsecondary degree or diploma in a healthcare related discipline.
• 5+ years solid technical, project management or sales experience in the CRO industry; experience with selling clinical services (Phase I-IV) preferred.
• Knowledge of CRO industry and drug development process.
• Established client contacts in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry.
• Self-starter, highly motivated with strong relationship-building skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation abilities.
• Strong project management experience with multiple complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell BioPharma’s early-stage clinical services and meet sales targets.
• Build and establish long-term client relationships.
• Develop and execute account plans for key clients.
• Liaise with Contracts and Proposals to manage proposals and budgets.
• Lead and manage processes to meet client deliverables.
• Attend/conduct key industry conferences and client events.
• Report opportunities and sales pipeline to the CCO.
• Support development of BD strategies and marketing intelligence.
• Ensure compliance with BioPharma SOPs, GCP and ICH guidelines.
