Job summary

Applied Biological Materials (abm) is expanding in the United States and seeks a Sales Account Manager for the U.S. West Territory, with a West Coast base location preferred.

You will manage and grow existing customer accounts across academic, biotech, pharma, CRO, government, and research institutions, and win new business by understanding research needs. The ideal candidate has a life sciences background, at least 2 years in business development or technical sales, strong knowledge of US

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or related field.
• Minimum 2 years in business development, account management, or technical sales in life sciences.
• Strong understanding of U.S. life science markets.
• Experience selling cell lines, cell-based products, or related life science products preferred.
• Experience managing customers in the Western U.S. is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Manage and expand customer accounts across the U.S. West Territory, including key hubs and institutions.
• Identify new business opportunities and drive revenue growth.
• Build long-term relationships with researchers, procurement contacts, and other decision-makers.
• Conduct regular meetings (virtual or in person) to understand research needs and opportunities for abm products.
• Develop territory and account plans; maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
• Identify customer needs and coordinate with internal teams to recommend solutions.
• Meet or exceed revenue targets and sales KPIs.
