Job summary

The YMCA of Metro Atlanta is seeking a Wellness Coach Level III to build personalized relationships with members and support wellness programs. This role requires completing YMCA/ACE online certifications, maintaining BLS, and adhering to safety guidelines while managing a member caseload.

Responsibilities include supervising wellness center activities, ensuring program quality, and collaborating with wellness staff to deliver high‑quality literacy and health initiatives.

Qualifications

• Must hold and maintain a current National Personal Training certification from listed bodies.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in exercise science or related field is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to work with diverse members.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily program tasks related to wellness coaching.
• Monitor wellness center floor and assist members while enforcing policies.
• Maintain equipment and report repair needs to supervisor.
• Complete required training within stated timelines (Coach Approach, YUSA courses, BLS).
• Maintain safety guidelines and keep certifications up to date.
• Establish and manage member caseload and assist with program activities.
