Job summary

The YMCA of Metropolitan Atlanta is seeking a Wellness Coach Level III to build personalized relationships and support members through signature programs. You will monitor the wellness center, ensure safety and program quality, and complete required trainings within set timelines.

Ideal candidates hold a current National Personal Training certification, be adept at customer service, and maintain certifications per YMCA/ACE guidelines, with a flexible schedule including two four-hour shifts per

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Knowledge of advanced weightlifting and health/wellness concepts.
• Must maintain current national personal training certification.
• Must obtain/maintain YMCA/Y-USA certifications within 60 days of hire.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily program tasks related to wellness coach scope.
• Monitor wellness center floor and assist members; enforce policies.
• Maintain equipment and report repairs as needed.
• Apply risk and safety guidelines; follow branch procedures.
• Promote wellness programs and ensure high-quality service.
• Complete required trainings within set timelines.
• Manage member caseload and personal training load.
• Attend staff meetings and trainings as required.
