Job summary

The YMCA of Metropolitan Atlanta is seeking a Wellness Coach Level II to build personalized relationships with members and support signature wellness programs. Responsibilities include monitoring the wellness center floor, enforcing safety guidelines, and ensuring high levels of service to participants.

You will complete required trainings within 60 days of hire, maintain BLS certification, and manage a caseload of active members in the Coach Approach Program.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of general weightlifting and health/wellness concepts.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, to work independently, and to problem-solve.

Responsibilities

• Monitor wellness center floor and assist members as needed.
• Enforce wellness center policies and safety guidelines.
• Maintain equipment and report repairs as needed.
• Complete required certifications within specified timelines.
• Maintain incident/accident paperwork and member caseload as outlined.
