Job summary

YMCA of Metro Atlanta in McCleskey East Cobb is hiring a Wellness Coach Level III to build personalized relationships and support members through our wellness programs. Under the direction of the Wellness Director, you will help maintain safety, deliver programming, and foster healthy lifestyles across the branch.

The role requires current National Personal Training credentials, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must hold and maintain a current National Personal Training certification from one of the listed bodies.
• Maintain ongoing certifications and continuing education credits.
• Solid knowledge of fitness, wellness concepts, and safety practices.
• Proficiency with MS Word and Excel; capable of basic data management.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the wellness center floor and assist members while enforcing policies.
• Clean, maintain, and check equipment; report any repairs as needed.
• Apply risk and safety guidelines and branch emergency procedures.
• Promote and ensure wellness programs run smoothly with high service levels.
• Complete required trainings within 60 days of hire; stay current with certifications.
• Maintain incident/accident reports and participate in staff meetings.
• Manage a personal training caseload and assist as needed with YMCA activities.
