Job summary

The YMCA of Metropolitan Atlanta is seeking a Wellness Coach Level II to build personalized relationships with members and support all wellness programs. You will work under the Wellness Director, ensuring programs run smoothly, maintaining certifications, and promoting safety and high-quality service.

Responsibilities include on-floor coaching, adherence to ACE/ACSM guidelines, and coordination of required trainings and documentation.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Knowledge of general weightlifting and health/wellness concepts.
• Must obtain/maintain access to Y-Exchange and YUSA platforms within 60 days of hire.
• Must maintain national and YUSA wellness certifications with continuing education credits every two years.
• Must possess current Basic Life Support certification and renew every 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily program tasks related to wellness coaching.
• Monitor wellness center floor and assist members while enforcing policies.
• Maintain equipment and report repairs as needed.
• Ensure wellness programs run smoothly with high service levels.
• Establish and maintain a caseload of active members in the Coach Approach program.
