Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an Area Sales Representative to cover the Welkom territory. This hybrid role combines in-office collaboration with remote work to manage a dynamic sales territory and engage clients effectively.

The ideal candidate will have proven sales experience, strong communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to meet and exceed quotas in the Free State region. Travel within Welkom is expected as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a sales role.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with CRM software and MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales plans to achieve targets in the Welkom area.
• Identify and prospect new potential clients through networking and outreach.
• Manage and nurture existing client relationships to drive satisfaction and repeat business.
• Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to prospective customers.
• Negotiate terms of sales and close deals.
• Provide market feedback and competitive intelligence to sales leadership.
• Maintain accurate customer and sales data in the CRM system.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient order processing and support.
• Attend industry events and trade shows to represent the company.
• Achieve and surpass individual sales goals and contribute to team targets.
• Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to management.
• Build a strong pipeline of opportunities within the territory.
