Job summary

Airgas is seeking a Weld Process Specialist in Brewton, AL to work with an Advanced Fabrication Specialist and drive welding process solutions. You will gain hands-on experience with Airgas Welding Processes, matching customer needs with products and services while traveling to customer sites.

The role requires 4–5 years in welding, an AWS Welding Sales certification, and a relevant welding degree; strong cost-analysis and presentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4–5 years in welding industry.
• AWS Certified Welding Sales Representative (CWSR).
• AAS Welding or Military Weld training or Engineering degree or equivalent.
• Lean, TQM, or Six Sigma background.
• Strong presentation and communication skills; cost analysis capability.

Responsibilities

• Sell Airgas welding processes and solutions to customers.
• Travel to customer sites with Advanced Fabrication Specialist (50–60% overnight).
• Develop cost-saving proposals using Efficiency Analysis and Engineered Cost Reduction.
• Present to business owners and decision makers to win Purchase Sales Agreements.
• Promote safety and provide technical support on welding applications.
