Job summary

Airgas, Inc. is seeking a Welding Sales Specialist to drive advanced fabrication solutions and growth across multiple PA locations. You will assess welding practices, promote capital equipment, robotics, and automation, and mentor the welding team to elevate customer outcomes.

The role requires an engineering degree or equivalent welding experience, plus 5+ years in B2B sales. Travel to PA sites and coordinate onsite installations with customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent welding experience.
• Five or more years in B2B or specialized sales.
• Reliable transportation and driver's license as required by state.
• Experience with capital equipment, robotics and automation solutions.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate customer welding practices and conduct weld surveys for improvements.
• Advance Airgas Advanced Fabrication Sales Methodology to grow capital equipment sales.
• Provide expertise on CNC cutting, robotic welding, and plasma/laser integration.
• Mentor the sales team; provide onsite product and application training.
• Coordinate installation and servicing of fixed and robotic automation projects.
