Job summary

Airgas seeks an Operations & Welding Process Specialist to align welding engineering with operations. You will visit field plants and client sites to analyze welding processes, suggest safer techniques, and propose advanced technologies to boost efficiency and safety. The role blends technical support with sales, focusing on capital equipment, robotics, and automation solutions. A path to leadership within the Welding Specialist team is available.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience within welding or industrial industry.
• Welding Engineering Degree is a valuable asset.
• CWI certification and professional AWS/ASM/ASNT/ASME/SME affiliations are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate customer welding/cutting practices and conduct Weld Surveys and Efficiency Analyses.
• Visit internal field plants and client sites to assess welding processes.
• Mentor the Welding Specialist team and provide onsite training.
• Coordinate installation and servicing of fixed and robotic automation projects.
