Job summary

KARIER is seeking Weekend RN Supervisors in Connecticut to lead weekend nursing operations and ensure resident safety. You will report to nursing administration and provide on-site clinical leadership, triage oversight, and administrative support to charge nurses, floor nurses, and CNAs.

The role emphasizes regulatory compliance, person-centered care alignment with care plans, and maintaining high-quality supervision across weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Active Connecticut RN license
• Minimum 2–3 years clinical nursing in SNF/LTC/sub-acute rehab
• Weekend supervisory experience preferred
• EMR experience (PointClickCare) for documentation

Responsibilities

• Weekend clinical leadership: supervise and direct weekend nursing operations
• Unit rounds: monitor resident conditions, meds, infection control, workflows
• Triage & emergency response: rapid clinical decisions on weekend events
• Admissions & transfers: assist staff with weekend admissions and discharges
• Staff guidance: coach and mentor RNs, LPNs, CNAs; ensure shift accountability
• Documentation & compliance: ensure timely EMR documentation per DPH/CMS
