Job summary

CareerNerds, LLC in Connecticut seeks an experienced Weekend RN Supervisor to lead weekend nursing operations on-site. You report to nursing administration and ensure continuity of care, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Key duties include supervising weekend staff (RNs, LPNs, CNAs), conducting rounds, managing triage, handling admissions and transfers, and ensuring timely EMR documentation in PointClickCare.

Qualifications

• Active CT RN license
• 2–3 years nursing experience in SNF/LTC or sub-acute care
• Prior supervisory or charge nurse experience preferred
• Strong leadership and ability to prioritize in weekend shifts
• Proficiency using EMR systems for documentation and orders

Responsibilities

• Weekend clinical leadership: supervise and direct weekend nursing operations
• Conduct routine rounds across units to monitor resident conditions and staff workflows
• Triage and rapid decision-making during resident status changes or emergencies
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and hospital discharge coordination
• Coach and mentor RNs, LPNs, and CNAs; ensure shift accountability
• Ensure accurate EMR documentation and regulatory compliance (DPH, CMS)
