Job summary

Sun Recruiting, Inc. is seeking an experienced Weekend RN Supervisor in Connecticut to lead weekend nursing operations and ensure continuity of care.

You will supervise RNs, LPNs, and CNAs, coordinate weekend admissions and transfers, and support charge nurses with clinical oversight, while maintaining regulatory compliance and resident safety. The role reports to Nursing Administration and offers a Baylor option (32 weekend hours, paid as 38) with full-time benefits eligibility and

Qualifications

• RN license active in Connecticut and in good standing.
• Minimum 2–3 years of clinical nursing experience in SNF/LTC/sub-acute rehab.
• Experience supervising weekend nursing teams and guiding CNAs.

Responsibilities

• Provide weekend clinical leadership and supervision of nursing operations.
• Conduct rounds across clinical units to monitor resident conditions and workflows.
• Triaging and rapid decision-making during acute events and operational issues.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and room assignments on weekends.
• Coach and mentor RNs, LPNs, and CNAs to ensure shift accountability.
• Ensure timely EMR documentation compliant with DPH and CMS.
