Red Seal Recruiting Ltd. is seeking a Weekend RN Supervisor to lead clinical nursing operations on weekends in Connecticut.

This on-site role reports to nursing administration and ensures seamless care continuity, regulatory compliance, and resident safety while supporting unit staff. Responsibilities include supervising weekend nursing teams, conducting rounds, triage during events, and coordinating admissions/transfers.

Qualifications

• Current, active, and unrestricted RN license in Connecticut.
• Minimum 2–3 years of clinical nursing experience in SNF/LTC/sub-acute rehab.
• Prior supervisory/charge nurse experience preferred.
• Experience with EMR systems (e.g., PointClickCare) for documentation and orders.

Responsibilities

• Weekend clinical leadership: supervise and direct weekend nursing operations to ensure person-centered care.
• Conduct routine rounds to monitor resident conditions, medication administration, and staff workflows.
• Provide rapid clinical decisions during status changes or emergencies.
• Assist with weekend admissions, transfers, and discharge orders.
• Serve as a resource and mentor to RNs, LPNs, and CNAs, ensuring shift accountability.
• Ensure EMR documentation complies with DPH and CMS regulations.
