Job summary

Trevecca Center for Rehabilitation and Healing in Nashville, TN is seeking a full-time Respiratory Therapist to join our skilled nursing team. The RT will evaluate and treat residents independently, with a focus on geriatric care and a wide range of respiratory therapies.

Candidates must hold an AS/BS in Respiratory Therapy, be licensed (RRT or CRT) in the practicing state, and be able to work a weekend schedule, including Saturdays and Sundays, with shifts of 4–6 hours.

Qualifications

• Graduate of COARC accredited AS or BS Respiratory program.
• Licensed as RRT or CRT.

Responsibilities

• Completes assessments and implements respiratory techniques to treat residents.
• Initiate therapies, maintain patient records, operate and assemble equipment.
• Complete bedside treatments and in-services for nursing staff quarterly.
• Attend applicable IDT meetings and track daily/weekly/monthly documentation.
