Job summary

Trevecca Center for Rehabilitation and Healing is seeking a full-time Respiratory Therapist to join our skilled nursing team. The RT must be licensed in the state, able to evaluate and treat independently, and passionate about geriatric care.

Responsibilities include completing assessments, initiating therapies, documenting progress, participating in IDT meetings, and providing bedside treatments in a long-term care setting. Weekend shifts and 4–6 hour blocks required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of COARC accredited AS or BS Respiratory program.
• Licensed as RRT or CRT in the state of practice.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Completes assessments and implements respiratory techniques for rehab patients.
• Initiate therapies, maintain patient records, operate and assemble equipment.
• Complete bedside treatments.
• Complete in-services for nursing staff every quarter.
• Responsible for completing daily, weekly and monthly documentation.
• Attend applicable IDT meetings.
• Experience with tracheotomy.
• Experience in long-term care setting.
