Job summary

Trevecca Center for Rehabilitation and Healing in Millersville, TN is seeking a full-time Respiratory Therapist to join our geriatric care team. The RT will assess and treat residents with varied respiratory and non-respiratory illnesses, and work with the nursing staff to improve patient experience.

The role requires state licensure, independence, and experience with bedside therapies, documentation, and participating in IDT meetings.

Qualifications

• Graduate of COARC accredited AS or BS Respiratory program.
• Licensed as RRT or CRT and licensed in the practicing state.

Responsibilities

• Assess and implement respiratory therapies for rehab patients.
• Initiate therapies, maintain records, operate equipment.
• Complete bedside treatments and quarterly staff in-services.
• Document daily, weekly, and monthly activities; attend IDT meetings.
• Manage caseload and perform airway clearance techniques.
