Job summary

Trevecca Center for Rehabilitation and Healing is seeking a full-time Respiratory Therapist to join a skilled nursing team focused on geriatric care. The RT will evaluate and treat residents independently, manage respiratory therapies, and ensure high-quality care with thorough documentation.

The role requires state licensure (RRT or CRT) and BLS certification, with experience in long-term care settings and tracheostomy care preferred. Schedule includes 4–6 hour shifts, Saturdays and Sundays.

Qualifications

• Graduate of COARC accredited AS or BS Respiratory program; licensed as RRT or CRT.
• Licensed in the state of practice; BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Complete assessments and implement respiratory techniques for rehab patients with various respiratory and non-respiratory illnesses.
• Initiate therapies, maintain patient records, operate, check, and assemble equipment.
• Provide bedside treatments and quarterly in-services for nursing staff.
• Document daily, weekly and monthly records; attend IDT meetings.
